Cake Model CookieBoard
I am pleased to introduce a new product in the CookieBoard line: The Cake Model Cookieboard. A customer asked me to make a super sized board used primarily to roll out cake fondant. It will roll out fondant, or any dough, to a consistent thickness across the entire board. This one has a working surface of 24" X 24". The standard rolling pin is 36" long and 1 5/8" diameter solid maple, with decorative end caps. The rolling pin will reach diagonally across the board. The working surface is 2 1/2 times that of a standard Cookieboard. A commercial "sheeter" costs thousands of dollars. Although it is used primarily for fondant, it still has 9 different thickness settings, up to 9/10". There is also the custom option of 18 different thickness settings. It is useful if you want to roll out fondant that is less than 1/10" thick.
Just request that option when ordering. It is guaranteed for one year against defects in material or workmanship.
Other sizes are available as a special order.
An upgrade to a Cherry or Walnut rolling pin is available.
An adjustable stop is also included on all Cookieboards. The stop catches on the edge of the table and prevents the board from sliding when rolling out the dough.
The CookieBoard is guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for one year from date of purchase.
